Licensed Stylist Assistant at Ciao Hair Salon

We are a busy, well-established, upscale salon serving clients throughout Niagara County. This position is ideal for someone who wants hands-on salon experience, continued education, and the opportunity to grow into a successful stylist while learning from an experienced team.

Responsibilities

• Shampoo, condition, and prepare clients for salon services
• Assist stylists during color, cutting, and styling appointments
• Perform blowouts and other services based on experience
• Prepare and maintain salon stations
• Clean and sanitize tools, equipment, and work areas
• Help keep the salon organized, stocked, and running efficiently
• Greet clients and help create a welcoming, elevated experience
• Learn Ciao Hair Salon's service standards and techniques

Qualifications

• Must hold a current New York State cosmetology license
• Professional, dependable, and eager to learn
• Friendly and comfortable interacting with clients
• Passionate about the beauty industry and current hair trends
• Able to work efficiently in a busy salon environment
• Willing to support the salon team wherever needed
• Interested in developing skills and growing into a stylist position
