We are seeking a talented Hair Stylist to join our team providing customers with flawless natural hair styles and supporting them to look their best! As a Hair Stylist, you will provide natural hair services using basic and advanced techniques. You’ll discuss the best products and hairstyles for each individual client based on their needs and preferences. Most importantly, you will make it your goal to ensure that every customer leaves our studio feeling great about their new style and happy with the services you provided.
Responsibilities
Evaluate customers’ face shape, hair features and personal preferences to recommend appropriate natural hair styles.
Wash hair at hairwashing stations with appropriate products
Apply hair treatment products
Execute flawless trims, cuts and shaping
Apply highlights, ombre, single process and other hair coloring techniques
Provide customers with a wide range of hair styling options from formal to casual including Silk Press, Loc Retwists and Natural Styles
Qualifications
Successful completion of a cosmetology school is required
Proven experience as a stylist, hairdresser or similar role is preferred
In-depth knowledge of hair cutting techniques and best practices
Skilled at hair coloring, straightening, and curling techniques
Familiar with a variety of treatment products
Up-to-date with trends in fashion and beauty
