In this role, you will specialize in creating stunning textured hairstyles that enhance natural hair patterns, while providing exceptional customer service. Your expertise will help clients feel confident and beautiful, as you deliver personalized styling experiences using your comprehensive knowledge of hair care, coloring, extensions, and more.

Duties

• Consult with clients to understand their desired textured hairstyles and recommend suitable techniques and products
• Perform texturizing services including twist-outs, braid-outs, perming, relaxers, and other textural treatments
• Execute precision cuts and styling tailored to textured hair types using tools such as scissors, razors, and curling irons
• Apply hair color, extensions, and other enhancements to achieve desired looks while maintaining healthy hair integrity
• Maintain a clean and sanitized work environment following salon sanitation standards and protocols
• Provide expert advice on hair care routines, product recommendations, and maintenance tips for textured hair
• Upsell salon services and retail products to enhance client satisfaction and salon revenue

Skills

• Proven experience working with textured hair types across diverse client needs
• Strong knowledge of hair coloring techniques, hair extensions, and styling methods for curly, coily, and wavy textures
• Proficiency with salon software systems such as Fresha for scheduling and client management
• Skilled in sanitation practices to ensure a safe and hygienic environment
• Excellent communication skills for client consultations and team collaboration
• Ability to mentor junior stylists and share expertise in textured hairstyling techniques
• Knowledge of barbering tools like straight razors for precise detailing when needed
• Familiarity with makeup application, nail care, and threading as complementary beauty services
