Job Overview

Live By The Sword Salon is looking for a salon assistant to join our busy, creative team in the heart of Williamsburg, Brooklyn, right on Bedford Ave and two blocks from the L train.

We’re looking for someone with strong styling and customer service skills who is motivated, reliable, and excited to grow in a fast-paced salon environment. This role is 3-4 days per week and includes assisting our stylists as well as supporting the front desk and overall salon operations.

What We're Looking For

• Valid NY Cosmetology License

• Previous salon assistant experience

• Experience with salon booking software

• Confidence in shampooing and blow drying

• Comfortable with client-facing and front desk responsibilities, including answering phones, booking appointments, and processing checkout

• Strong work ethic, reliability, and professionalism

• Positive, team-oriented attitude with strong communication and customer service skills
