Responsibilities

• Provide professional barbering services, including haircuts, shaves, beard trims, and hair styling tailored to each client's preferences.
• Maintain impeccable sanitation standards by thoroughly cleaning tools, stations, and equipment after each client to ensure safety and hygiene compliance.
• Deliver exceptional customer service by actively listening to client needs, offering product recommendations through upselling techniques, and fostering a friendly atmosphere.
• Assist with front desk duties, including greeting clients, managing wait times, and handling retail sales of hair care products and accessories.

Experience Required

• Valid cosmetology or barbering license with current certification.
• Proven experience in hair styling and barbering techniques, including straight razor shaves, as well as retail sales within a salon or barbershop setting.
• Familiarity with salon software such as MINDBODY or similar platforms for appointment booking and client management.
• Strong knowledge of sanitation procedures, store management principles, and retail math to maximize sales opportunities.
• Excellent communication skills with the ability to connect with diverse clients while demonstrating professionalism and confidence.
• Ability to work collaboratively within a team environment while mentoring newer staff members.
