Overview
We are seeking a talented and passionate Colorist / Stylist / Blonding Expert to join our dynamic salon team for our East Village AND Williamsburg locations. The ideal candidate will possess a strong eye for color, exceptional hair styling skills, and a commitment to delivering outstanding customer service. This role offers an exciting opportunity to work with the latest techniques in blonding, hair extensions, and advanced color theory while fostering a welcoming environment for clients. The position requires a licensed cosmetologist or barber with experience in both hair coloring and styling, dedicated to creating personalized looks that enhance each client's natural beauty.

Responsibilities — Blonding Specialist

• Deliver top-tier customer care with warmth, professionalism, and clear communication throughout every appointment

• Provide thorough, transparent consultations following the Blondify Way for expectations, pricing, maintenance, timing, and achievable results

• Manage time efficiently to stay on schedule and create a smooth, predictable experience for clients and teammates

• Arrive prepared and on time for every shift, meeting the standards of a punctual, reliable professional

• Maintain salon cleanliness by participating in daily/weekly upkeep, resetting stations, and working collaboratively as a team

• Follow all Blondify service protocols including color application, treatment recommendations, reweighing (Vish), and service procedures

• Participate actively as a team member by supporting others, communicating clearly, and maintaining a positive, solution-focused attitude

• Create and share social media content regularly to promote your work, strengthen your personal brand, and support salon visibility

• Engage with clients and community online in a professional manner aligned with Blondify’s brand voice

• Embrace ongoing education and demonstrate a willingness to learn, regardless of experience level

• Stay aware of personal performance metrics (KPIs) and work toward growth goals with leadership support

• Offer product and treatment recommendations that support client hair health and elevate the guest experience

• Represent the Blondify brand through professionalism, artistry, and high standards inside and outside the salon

What We’re Looking For

• Must have an active NY State Cosmetology License

• Junior Stylist must have Foundational Blonding skills required (foil placement, color theory, balayage, etc.)
