Flexible schedule: 3, 4, or 5 day work week / 6 hour shifts.

Earning Range - scaling commission:

• Growing stylist - $10/hr + 10% commission
• Experienced stylists - 50% - 65% commission

Duties

• Deliver professional hair styling, coloring, cutting, and finishing services tailored to each client's preferences.
• Assist with front desk responsibilities including greeting clients, managing appointment flow, and handling payments.
• Mentor junior team members and contribute to a positive team environment through knowledge sharing and support.

Requirements

• Valid cosmetology or barbering license as required by state law.
• Proven experience working in the beauty industry with expertise in hair styling, coloring, and cutting techniques with at least 1 year of experience.
• Knowledge of salon software systems.
• Strong understanding of hair care products, color theory, and advanced styling techniques.
• Skilled in customer communication, client consultation, and building lasting relationships.
• Ability to perform sanitation procedures diligently to ensure a safe environment for clients and staff.
• Experience with retail sales.
• Excellent communication skills combined with a friendly demeanor that fosters trust and loyalty among clients.
