Hair Stylist at Salon V

Salon V is a well-established, boutique salon with over 15 years of experience in the heart of Greenwich Village, NYC. Known for our welcoming atmosphere and talented team, we're currently looking to expand with a friendly, motivated, and passionate Hair Stylist. Days are flexible but we are looking to fill Fridays and Saturdays.

Duties

• Perform hair styling services, including cutting, coloring, and texturizing hair according to client preferences.
• Demonstrate knowledge of color theory to achieve desired results for clients.
• Enhance the overall client experience by being friendly and warm.
• Maintain cleanliness and sanitation of tools and workstations in compliance with health regulations.
• Build strong relationships with clients through excellent customer service, understanding their needs, and providing professional advice on hair care.
• Stay updated on the latest trends in hairstyling and beauty techniques to offer innovative services.

Experience

• A valid NY cosmetology license is required.
• Familiarity with various hair products and tools used in the industry.
• Strong communication skills and the ability to work well in a team-oriented environment.
• A passion for beauty and a desire to continuously improve skills through ongoing education and training.
