Hair Stylist Intern at Body & Soul Hair Salon

This position allows an opportunity to assist while building your own clientele. We provide training with skill enhancement and professional social etiquette.

Suggested Tip: Our most suitable applicant should already have a supplemental income because while this position can be very lucrative, this building process takes time.

Responsibilities

• Perform basic braids and feed-in braids
• Shampoo and condition hair thoroughly
• Perform basic hair trimming
• Follow instructions well and adapt to a family-oriented salon environment
• Engage with clients in a personable and professional manner

Requirements

• Must have basic knowledge of hair styling techniques
• Must be a team player with a great personality
• Minimum requirement is to be enrolled in a beauty school and/or in the process of obtaining a styling license
• Must have knowledge of basic computer skills
• Basic styling skills are a must
