Assistant Hair Stylist

Role Description

We are looking for a Hairstylist to join the Taylored Your Way team in Larchmont, NY.

This role is ideal for a stylist who is passionate about hair, enjoys connecting with people, and wants to continue growing both behind the chair and as a professional.

Responsibilities include:

• Conducting thoughtful consultations and creating customized service plans

• Providing haircuts, color, styling, and other salon services based on individual client needs

• Educating clients on hair care, maintenance, and at-home routines

• Recommending professional products when appropriate

• Creating a warm, welcoming, and personalized guest experience

• Building and maintaining strong client relationships

• Maintaining a clean, organized, and professional workstation

• Following New York State sanitation and safety requirements

• Communicating effectively with clients and team members

• Participating in continued education and professional development

• Contributing to a positive, collaborative, and supportive salon culture

• Taking ownership of your growth, goals, and client experience
