Barber / Barber Apprentice / Cosmetologist at The Men's Room On Main Barbershop
We're expanding and renovating our barbershop and looking for a new team member to join us around mid-October!The Men's Room On Main is a welcoming, small-town shop specializing in men's haircuts, fades, and beard grooming. We're looking for a licensed barber or cosmetologist who enjoys men's haircutting. We're also open to a New York State registered barber apprentice who is eager to learn and grow under the supervision of a licensed barber.
What You'll Do
- Provide quality men's haircuts, including fades and scissor cuts
- Offer beard grooming services within the scope of your license
- Give clients a friendly, professional experience
- Help keep the shop clean, organized, and welcoming
What We're Looking For
- Some experience with men's cuts is preferred, but a willingness to learn matters just as much
- Reliability and good communication
- A current New York State barber or cosmetology license, or eligibility to work as a registered barber apprentice
Schedule and Pay
The shop is open Wednesday through Saturday and welcomes plenty of walk-ins. Pay is commission based; we'll discuss the commission structure and schedule during the interview.
