Assistant Stylist / Junior Stylist at Tresses & Colours Salon

For over 30 years, Tresses & Colours has been helping clients look and feel their best. We are searching for an enthusiastic Assistant Stylist / Junior Stylist who is ready to learn, grow, and eventually take over an established client following.

What You'll Do

• Assist experienced stylists throughout the day
• Shampoo, condition, and prepare clients
• Apply color and toners (based on experience)
• Blow dry and style hair
• Keep the salon clean, organized, and welcoming
• Deliver exceptional customer service
• Learn advanced cutting, coloring, and styling techniques
• Gradually build your own clientele while transitioning existing guests

Qualifications

• New York Cosmetology License (or Temporary License)
• Excellent communication skills
• Reliable transportation
• Weekend availability is preferred
