• Use tools like straight razors and techniques such as hair threading to achieve precise results.
• Maintain high standards of sanitation and hygiene according to industry regulations.
• Educate clients on proper hair care routines, product usage, and maintenance for healthy textured hair.
• Manage appointments efficiently using salon software like Fresha to ensure smooth scheduling.
• Upsell products and services that complement textured hair needs to enhance client satisfaction and salon revenue.

Experience

• Proven experience working in the beauty industry with a focus on textured hair styling.
• Strong knowledge of hair care, coloring, extensions, and advanced styling techniques specific to curly and coily textures.
• Familiarity with salon management software such as Fresha or similar platforms.
• Skilled in barbering techniques including the use of straight razors.
• Excellent communication skills for client consultations and team collaboration.
• Experience with sanitation practices, cosmetology licensing requirements, and color theory principles.
