Responsibilities
- Consult with clients to understand their hair goals and recommend personalized styling, coloring, and treatment options
- Perform a variety of hair services including cutting, styling, and coloring with precision and artistry
- Maintain high standards of sanitation and cleanliness in all tools, workstations, and salon areas in accordance with health regulations
- Stay current on the latest trends in hair styling, coloring techniques, and product innovations to provide fresh ideas to clients
- Mentor junior team members by sharing expertise in barbering, hair care, and customer communication skills
Requirements
- Must possess an established and transferable local clientele base
- Valid cosmetology or barbering license with comprehensive knowledge of sanitation practices
- Strong aptitude for driving business growth and enhancing client satisfaction through tailored service upgrades
- Bilingual fluency in English and Spanish preferred but not required
- Proven experience working in the beauty industry with proficiency in hair styling, coloring, and hair extensions
- Strong communication skills to effectively connect with clients and understand their needs
- Knowledge of color theory to achieve desired hair color results safely and accurately
- Ability to perform specialized services including straight razor shaves
- Passion for ongoing learning about new techniques in hair care and nail care to continually enhance your craft
