About the Salon

Family-owned, one location, open Tuesday to Sunday. Specializing in curly hair (Ouidad-certified owner), color, highlights and balayage, keratin and smoothing treatments, blowouts, makeup, and bridal. About 300 client visits a month, so there is work waiting for a second stylist from day one.

The Work

Color: root touch-ups, single process, highlights, balayage, glazes
Cuts and blowouts for all lengths
Keratin, smoothing, and botox treatments
Updos and event styling when booked

Requirements

Active New York cosmetology license (required)
Salon experience with color and blowouts
Ouidad certification preferred, not required
Your own shears, brushes, and irons. Color, products, towels, and the booking system are provided
Reliable, clean station, on time

Schedule

Full-time preferred, 4 or 5 days between Tuesday and Sunday. Three days considered for an experienced colorist. Your days off are fixed at hire. Wednesday shifts can run until 9 PM. Closed Mondays.
