Duties

• Perform professional hair coloring techniques utilizing color theory principles to achieve vibrant or subtle results tailored to each client.
• Apply hair extensions with precision to enhance length, volume, or style as requested.
• Conduct consultations to understand client needs, recommend suitable treatments, and educate on hair care routines.
• Utilize salon software such as MINDBODY to schedule appointments, manage client records, and process transactions efficiently.
• Maintain impeccable sanitation standards by cleaning tools, stations, and ensuring compliance with health regulations.
• Upsell additional services such as makeup application or nail care to enhance the client experience and increase salon revenue.
• Mentor junior team members in techniques like hair threading, barbering with straight razors, and advanced styling methods.
• Manage store operations including inventory management of hair products and salon supplies.
• Foster excellent client communication by listening attentively and providing personalized recommendations for hair care and styling.

Qualifications

• Valid cosmetology license or barbering certification as required by local regulations.
• Proven experience working in the beauty industry with a strong portfolio of diverse hairstyles and color work.
• Proficiency in salon software such as MINDBODY for appointment scheduling and client management.
• Skilled in various hair techniques including hair coloring, styling, extensions, and barbering with straight razors.
• Knowledge of sanitation practices to ensure a safe and hygienic environment for clients and staff.
• Strong communication skills with the ability to connect with clients and understand their vision clearly.
• Familiarity with hair care products, nail care basics, makeup application, and store management procedures.
