Job Description

Street Salon is expanding and hiring for the new exciting location next to the Westin Hotel.

Great customer base with lots of exposure. Join our small shop. We offer a relaxed atmosphere and the ability to be creative. The customer base is made up of students, professionals, tourists, and local residents of the Back Bay.

Responsibilities

• Provide hair styling services with good customer service and technical skills
• Perform blow dry services (early morning shifts available)
• Create styles and designs according to client preferences
• Maintain a clean and sanitary work environment
• Educate clients on proper hair care and recommend appropriate products
• Keep up-to-date with industry trends and techniques
• Provide excellent customer service and ensure client satisfaction

Experience and Skills

• Minimum of 1 year experience as a Hair Stylist or Barber (recent cosmetology or barber graduates will be considered)
• Knowledge of additional beauty services (hair extensions, straight razor shaving, eyelash extensions, makeup application) is a bonus
• Comfortable taking on additional tasks in daily salon operations
• Strong communication skills and ability to build rapport with clients
