• Engage clients through effective communication, understanding their style goals and offering personalized recommendations
• Manage appointments efficiently using salon software such as MINDBODY or similar platforms
• Upsell retail products like hair care items, styling tools, and grooming accessories to meet client needs
• Assist with front desk duties including scheduling appointments, answering inquiries, and managing retail sales

Qualifications

• Valid cosmetology or barbering license with experience working in the beauty industry
• Proficiency in salon software systems such as MINDBODY or equivalent management tools
• Strong knowledge of haircutting techniques including barbering styles and hair styling trends
• Skilled in hair coloring, hair threading, nail care, and makeup application
• Familiarity with sanitation protocols and store management practices to ensure a safe environment
• Excellent communication skills for client consultation and team collaboration
• Ability to mentor junior staff members and contribute positively to team dynamics
