We’re an independent, team-driven salon in North Attleboro, MA built around great hair, strong consultations, continued education, and taking genuinely good care of our clients.

We’re not corporate, overly stuffy, or interested in outdated salon hierarchy. We believe talented stylists do their best work when expectations are clear, education is encouraged, individuality is welcome, and everyone on the team contributes to making the salon a great place to work.

We take our craft seriously. Ourselves? Slightly less so.

What Makes Mane Street Different?

We don’t just teach techniques or chase whatever happens to be trending on Instagram. We dig into the why behind what we do; from color theory and hair science to product ingredients, consultations, formulation, and separating good information from clever beauty-industry marketing.

Who We’re Looking For

We’re currently looking for an experienced, well-rounded hairstylist who feels comfortable behind the chair and wants to become part of an established salon team.

You don’t need to know everything. None of us do.

You do need a strong technical foundation, good judgment, solid communication skills, and the confidence to manage your appointments and client experience independently.

We’d love to meet someone who:

• Is confident cutting both short and long hair on men and women

• Has strong highlighting skills, including foils, balayage, babylights, dimensional color, and modern highlighting techniques

• Provides thoughtful, thorough consultations

• Can guide clients toward what will realistically work for their hair, lifestyle, maintenance preferences, and budget

• Works efficiently while still caring about quality

• Communicates well with clients and coworkers

• Is dependable, professional, and willing to keep learning

• Enjoys being part of a team while still taking pride and ownership in their own work

A Few Scheduling Details

This position begins part-time with the opportunity to grow into full-time as your clientele and schedule build.

Applicants should be available for:

• Two evenings during the week

• Two day shifts

• Every other Saturday (or a minimum of 2 Saturdays a month)

We believe clients need access to their stylist—but we also believe stylists deserve a life outside the salon.

Hence the alternate Saturdays. Because burnout is not a personality trait.

You could be working to 90s alternative, Motown, pop, hip-hop, classic rock, or whatever musical identity crisis our “New England weather” playlist brings.

What You’ll Need

• A current Massachusetts cosmetology license

• Behind-the-chair salon experience; two or more years is preferred, but talent, confidence, and skill matter more to us than simply counting years

• The ability to perform services independently

• A portfolio or Instagram showing a range of your work

• Strong communication and consultation skills

• The ability to comfortably manage the pace of a normal salon day

Bonus Points

Not required, but definitely appreciated:

• An existing clientele

• Social media skills

• Experience with dimensional color, advanced highlighting, or specialty services

• Living within a reasonable commute of North Attleboro
