Chair Rental – Nail Technician / Hair Stylist

Duties

• Provide high-quality hair styling, coloring, extensions, barbering, and hair threading services tailored to each client's preferences.
• Offer expert nail care services including manicures, pedicures, and nail art to enhance client satisfaction.
• Deliver professional makeup application for special occasions or everyday looks.
• Maintain impeccable sanitation standards by thoroughly cleaning tools and workstations in accordance with health regulations.
• Engage with clients through effective communication, understanding their needs and advising on hair care products or additional services for upselling opportunities.
• Manage appointments efficiently using salon software such as MINDBODY or similar platforms to optimize scheduling and client management.
• Foster positive relationships with clients through attentive customer service, ensuring repeat business and referrals.
• Keep up-to-date with the latest trends in hair coloring, styling techniques, and nail care to provide innovative services.
• Assist with store management tasks when needed, including inventory checks and maintaining a welcoming salon atmosphere.

Experience

• Proven experience working in the beauty industry as a hairstylist or nail technician is required; familiarity with salon operations is highly preferred.
• Demonstrated proficiency in hair care techniques such as coloring, extensions, barbering (including straight razor use), and hair styling.
• Knowledge of sanitation practices and maintaining a clean work environment is essential.
• Strong communication skills for client consultation and service recommendations.
• Experience using salon management software like MINDBODY or similar systems for scheduling and client records.
• Certification in cosmetology or barbering is required; additional skills in makeup application and hair threading are advantageous.
• Ability to mentor junior staff or apprentices is a plus, fostering a collaborative team environment.
