Salon Assistant

Our assistants are an important part of our salon team. Our stylists stay busy throughout the day, so we're looking for someone who is reliable, proactive, hardworking, and able to stay productive without constant direction.

Salon Assistant Daily Responsibilities

• Shampoo and condition clients
• Apply glosses and toners
• Assist stylists with color and other services
• Blow-dry clients when needed
• Assist with reception, including checking guests in and out and scheduling appointments
• Maintain a clean, organized salon, including sweeping, mopping, laundry, sanitizing, and general upkeep
• Help maintain a welcoming and professional environment for our guests
• Must be available on weekends

Salon Assistant Qualifications

• Valid New York State Cosmetology License
• Previous salon experience preferred
• Reliable, responsible, and punctual
• Positive attitude and strong work ethic
• Team-oriented and willing to learn
• Professional appearance and excellent customer service skills

Hairstylist

We're looking for a creative, experienced, and motivated Hairstylist with positive energy and a passion for the beauty industry. Our ideal stylist is confident working with both men's and women's hair, stays current with modern trends and techniques, and provides exceptional service to every guest.

Hairstylist Qualifications

• Valid New York State Cosmetology License
• 3+ years of professional hairstyling experience
• Experienced in cutting both men's and women's hair
• Strong color skills, including balayage, ombré, highlights, and other modern color techniques
• Creative, confident, and passionate about their work
• Excellent communication and customer service skills
• Professional and team-oriented
• Must be available on weekends
