Assistant at Cadre Salon

Key Responsibilities

Key tasks for the salon assistant include but are not limited to:

• Organizing and preparing tools, products, and supplies for stylists as needed.
• Assist with color application, foiling, and other technical services as directed by the stylist.
• Perform blow-drying and basic styling tasks under the guidance of a stylist if needed.
• Greeting clients warmly at the door and accommodating them with amenities such as water, coffee, etc.
• Maintain organization and cleanliness of workstations and common areas.
• Sweep hair, clean tools, and sanitize equipment regularly.
• Restocking supplies around the salon as needed.
• Ensure the salon is tidy and presentable at all times.
• Stay up to date with the latest trends and techniques in hair care and styling.
• Attend training sessions and workshops provided by the salon.
• Participate in team meetings and contribute to salon goals and objectives.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• CT cosmetology license.
• Strong customer service and communication skills.
• Ability to multitask and work efficiently in a fast-paced environment.
• Positive attitude and a willingness to learn (team player).
• Takes opportunity for growth and advancement in the industry.
• Previous experience in a salon setting is a plus but not required.

Physical Requirements

• Ability to stand for extended periods of time.
• Ability to lift up to 25 pounds.
• Manual dexterity and ability to handle various tools and products.
