David James Hair Salon & Spa is looking for a reliable, energetic Salon Assistant who's ready to learn and grow in the beauty industry. If you love working with people and want to build a career behind the chair someday, we want to meet you.

What You'll Do

Greet clients and help create a warm, welcoming salon experience
Shampoo and condition clients' hair, and prep clients for services
Assist stylists with draping, mixing color, and preparing products per their instructions
Keep styling stations, tools, and the back bar clean, stocked, and sanitized
Help with laundry, towel folding, and general salon upkeep
Support stylists throughout the day so every client gets great service

What You Bring

Positive attitude and strong work ethic
Excellent communication and customer service skills
Ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment
Reliable, punctual, and eager to learn
Salon experience is a plus, but not required
New York State Shampoo Assistant License or Cosmetology License preferred (or willingness to obtain one)
