Position Overview
The Receptionist is responsible for managing the client experience at the front of the studio. This includes greeting clients, coordinating appointments, handling communications, processing payments, and ensuring daily operations run smoothly.
This role is ideal for someone who is organized, professional, client focused, and passionate about beauty and wellness.
Key Responsibilities
• Open and prepare the studio for daily operations
• Welcome clients warmly and manage the check in and check out process
• Answer phone calls, texts, and emails in a timely and professional manner
• Schedule, confirm, and manage client appointments using booking software
• Process payments and maintain accurate transaction records
• Maintain a clean, organized, and professional reception area
• Support Scalp Therapists and team members with scheduling and coordination needs
• Educate clients on services, packages, and product offerings when appropriate
• Assist with retail product sales and service upgrades
• Resolve client questions or concerns with professionalism and care
• Assist with administrative and operational tasks as needed
Qualifications
• Previous experience in a spa, salon, wellness studio, or beauty environment preferred
• Experience with appointment scheduling or booking software preferred
• Strong organizational and multitasking skills
• Excellent verbal communication and customer service skills
• Professional, polished, and client focused demeanor
• Reliable, punctual, and detail oriented
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team
• Passion for the beauty, wellness, and hair care industry

Job Type: Part time
Expected Hours: 20 to 25 hours per week
