Salon Assistant at NappStar

We are NappStar, a salon that specializes only in Locs!

We are looking for Salon Assistants to assist in loc services and with basic salon operations. Salon Assistants must be familiar with natural hair care maintenance, as their responsibilities may include but are not limited to: assisting with loc styles, loc care, haircare, washes, laundry, sanitizing salon tools, etc. Training is provided and mandatory for this opportunity.

Responsibilities

• Must be coachable and adaptable
• Welcome customers and identify their preferences by asking pointed questions
• Apply hair treatment products, as needed (e.g. ACV treatments, scalp treatment oils, and hydrating masks)
• Coming in to work camera ready to be showcased on Social Media
• Form bonds with loyal customers and remember their hair preferences
• Ensure tidiness of beauty stations and sterilize tools, as needed
• Maintain laundry and overall tidiness of stylist tools
• Refill stylist products

Compensation & Benefits

Salary Range: $18 - $20 per hour
