Duties

• Perform a variety of nail services such as manicures, pedicures, gel manicures, acrylic and nail extension applications with attention to detail and client preferences
• Apply and shape nail enhancements using techniques like acrylics and other nail extension methods
• Conduct skin and nail treatments including dermabrasion, body waxing, esthetic laser treatments, and eyelash extensions to enhance overall client appearance
• Follow strict salon safety protocols and sanitation procedures to ensure a clean environment and prevent infections
• Communicate effectively with clients to understand their needs, recommend suitable services or retail products, and upsell additional treatments or nail care items
• Maintain thorough records of services provided and client preferences for future appointments
• Stay updated on the latest trends in nail art, color theory, and beauty treatments to deliver innovative services that delight clients

Skills

• Strong knowledge of color theory, nail care techniques, and the application of gel manicures and nail extensions
• Experience working in the beauty industry with a focus on nails, esthetics, or cosmetology
• Proficiency in sanitation practices including disinfection procedures to ensure safety standards are met
• Excellent communication skills for client consultation and building lasting relationships
• Ability to perform diverse services such as manicure, pedicure, hair styling, hair extensions, hair threading, body waxing, and eyelash extensions as needed
• Retail sales skills combined with retail math understanding to promote products confidently without overselling
• Knowledge of salon safety protocols along with experience in disinfection procedures for tools and workspaces
