• Communicate effectively with clients to understand their desired outcomes, offer professional advice on nail care, and upsell retail products when appropriate.
• Stay updated on the latest trends in nail art, techniques like dermabrasion or esthetic laser treatments, and new product offerings to enhance service quality.
• Manage retail sales of nail products and beauty accessories using retail math skills to meet sales goals.

Qualifications

• Proven experience working as a Nail Technician or in the beauty industry with a strong portfolio of nail art and design work.
• Certification in cosmetology or esthetician licensing as required by local regulations.
• Knowledge of nail care techniques including acrylic application, gel manicures, and nail extensions.
• Familiarity with salon safety protocols, sanitation standards, disinfection procedures, and client communication best practices.
• Strong understanding of color theory, nail art design principles, and current industry trends such as eyelash extensions or body waxing.
