New York State Licensed Massage Therapist (LMT) at Legend Wellness Center
Legend Wellness Center is hiring New York State Licensed Massage Therapists to join our growing team at our Yonkers and White Plains locations.We are looking for professional, compassionate, and dependable therapists who enjoy helping clients reduce muscular pain and tension, improve mobility, recover from physical stress, and support overall wellness.
Newly licensed therapists are encouraged to apply — training and support are provided.
Responsibilities
- Provide professional therapeutic and medical massage services within the NYS LMT scope of practice
- Customize each massage session based on the client's needs
- Perform techniques such as deep tissue, trigger point therapy, myofascial techniques, stretching, sports massage, and other therapeutic techniques as appropriate
- Work with clients experiencing muscular tension, discomfort, limited mobility, physical stress, and sports-related concerns
- Complete accurate treatment documentation and SOAP notes when required
- Educate clients on appropriate stretching, self-care, and wellness practices
- Maintain professional communication and boundaries with clients
- Maintain clean, organized, and sanitary treatment rooms
- Provide excellent customer service and create a welcoming client experience
- Work collaboratively with the Legend Wellness Center team
Qualifications
- Active NYS Massage Therapy License — REQUIRED
- Knowledge of anatomy, physiology, and kinesiology
- Strong therapeutic massage skills
- Deep tissue and trigger point experience preferred
- Medical or sports massage experience is a plus, but not required
- Professional, reliable, compassionate, and team-oriented
- Strong communication and customer service skills
- Comfortable working with a diverse client population
- English and Spanish-speaking candidates are welcome
