The MJ Treatment is a growing spa focused on delivering high-quality wellness and massage services in a professional and relaxing environment.We are currently seeking an Experienced Massage Therapist to join our team. This position is based in a professional spa environment focused on wellness, relaxation, and client care.
Compensation is based on services performed and paid per session. This opportunity is structured as an independent contractor (1099) relationship. Contractors maintain control over their schedules and are responsible for their own taxes, insurance, and related business expenses.
Responsibilities
- Perform massage therapy services.
- Conduct client consultations.
- Maintain cleanliness and organization throughout treatment areas.
- Deliver excellent client care and professionalism.
- Complete treatment notes and service documentation.
Requirements
- Valid New York State Massage Therapy License or Permit.
- Ability to obtain or maintain liability malpractice insurance.
- Strong communication skills.
- Ability to work in a professional spa environment.
