We are seeking a talented and passionate Hair Stylist ALL beauty professionals to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate MUST HAVE THEIR OWN CLIENTELE, will possess a strong foundation in cosmetology and barbering, with a flair for creativity and an eye for detail. As a Hair Stylist, you will provide exceptional hair services while ensuring a welcoming and professional environment for our clients. Your expertise in various techniques and products will help enhance our clients' beauty and confidence.

Duties

• Provide a range of hair services including cutting, coloring, styling, and hair extensions.
• Utilize straight razors and other tools effectively to achieve desired styles.
• Maintain high standards of sanitation and cleanliness in the salon.
• Engage with clients to understand their needs and provide personalized recommendations.
• Use salon software, including Acuity, for appointment scheduling and client management.
• Assist with front desk operations, including greeting clients.
• Stay updated on current trends in hair styling, color theory, and makeup application.
• Promote additional services such as eyelash extensions, nail care, and hair threading through upselling techniques.

Skills

• Strong knowledge of cosmetology principles and practices.
• Proficiency in hair styling techniques, including color theory and barbering skills.
• Experience with salon software systems, particularly MINDBODY.
• Excellent customer service skills with the ability to communicate effectively with clients.
• Ability to perform retail math for sales transactions and inventory management.
• Experience in mentoring or training staff is a plus.
• Familiarity with sanitation practices to ensure client safety.
• Creative mindset with a passion for beauty trends and techniques.
