Overview

We are seeking a talented and passionate Hair Stylist to join our dynamic team. As a Hair Stylist, you will play a crucial role in providing exceptional hair care services to our clients while ensuring a welcoming and professional atmosphere. You will have the opportunity to showcase your creativity and skills in various hair treatments, styling techniques, and beauty services. BOOTH RENTALS AVAILABLE AS WELL!

Duties

• Provide a range of hair services including cutting, coloring, and styling to meet clients' needs and preferences.
• Perform additional beauty services such as eyelash extensions, hair threading, and nail care as requested by clients. Not required but a plus!
• Maintain high standards of cleanliness by sanitizing tools and workstations according to salon protocols.
• Utilize salon software for scheduling appointments, managing client records, and processing transactions efficiently.
• Deliver outstanding customer service by communicating effectively with clients to understand their desires and provide personalized recommendations.
• Engage in upselling products and services to enhance the client experience and promote salon offerings.
• Assist with front desk responsibilities as needed, including greeting clients and managing phone inquiries.
• Stay updated on the latest trends in hair styling and beauty treatments to provide clients with innovative options.

Requirements

• Proven experience as a Hair Stylist or similar role in a salon environment.
• Strong knowledge of retail math for effective product sales management.
• Excellent customer service skills with the ability to communicate clearly and professionally.
• Familiarity with salon software for appointment scheduling and client management is preferred.
• Skills in eyelash extensions, hair threading, nail care, or other specialized beauty treatments are a plus.
• Ability to work collaboratively within a team while also being self-motivated.
• A valid cosmetology license is required to perform hair services legally.
