Responsibilities

• Provide professional hair cutting, styling, coloring, and finishing services tailored to each client's preferences and hair type
• Utilize salon software such as Clover and Salon Scheduler to schedule appointments, manage client records, and process retail sales efficiently
• Perform specialized treatments including updos, clipper cuts, tinsel, braiding, bonding treatments, and blowouts to meet client satisfaction
• Maintain high standards of sanitation and cleanliness in accordance with health regulations and salon protocols
• Offer expert advice on hair care products, retail sales, and upselling opportunities to maximize client satisfaction and salon revenue
• Communicate effectively with clients to understand their needs, provide personalized recommendations, and ensure a positive experience
• Mentor junior team members and support store management in daily operations to foster a collaborative environment

Skills

• Valid cosmetology or barbering license with experience working in the beauty industry
• Proficiency in hair styling techniques including cutting, coloring, and using tools like straight razors
• Knowledge of hair care products, color theory, and current trends in hair fashion
• Experience with salon software such as Clover and Salon Scheduler for appointment booking and client management
• Strong customer service skills with excellent communication abilities for client consultations
• Ability to perform hair perms, blowouts, highlights, and clipper cut services confidently
• Familiarity with sanitation standards and store management practices including front desk duties and retail math calculations
