Duties

• Perform a variety of hair services including cutting, styling, coloring, blonding, and extensions.
• Maintain impeccable sanitation standards by cleaning tools, sanitizing workstations, and adhering to health regulations.
• Offer expert advice on hair care routines, product recommendations, and retail sales to boost client loyalty and salon revenue.
• Communicate clearly with clients to understand their needs and deliver personalized consultations that exceed expectations.
• Mentor junior staff or apprentices to foster a collaborative learning environment and uphold high service standards.
• Stay updated on current trends.
• Maintain a stylish and professional appearance.

Qualifications

• Experience working behind the chair in a high-end salon environment.
• Must be actively working as a hairstylist with no lapse in employment.
• Valid CT cosmetology license.
• Skilled in hair coloring techniques with a solid understanding of color theory.
• Experience with hair extensions or being open to learning.
• Professional social media as a portfolio.
• Excellent communication skills for client consultations and team collaboration.
• Ability to upsell retail products effectively while maintaining a focus on client needs.
• Commitment to maintaining a high-end experience for our clientele.
