Associate Stylist at Contours Salon & MedSpa

Are you a licensed cosmetologist who is ready to build a successful career behind the chair?

Contours Salon & MedSpa is seeking motivated Associate Stylists to join our Education Program. This position is designed for professionals who want to strengthen their technical skills, gain real salon experience, and transition into a commissioned stylist role.

You won't be learning on your own. Our associates receive hands-on coaching from a dedicated in-house trainer while working alongside experienced stylists who are invested in helping the next generation succeed.

• Hair color application and formulation
• Client consultations
• Blowouts and styling
• Guest experience and customer service
• Retail recommendations
• Time management and salon workflow
• Building and retaining a loyal clientele

Responsibilities

• Assist experienced stylists throughout the day
• Prepare guests for salon services
• Shampoo, blow dry, and style guests as your skills progress
• Maintain a clean and organized work environment
• Participate in scheduled education and training
• Deliver exceptional customer service
• Continue developing technical and professional skills

Qualifications

• Active Connecticut Cosmetology License
• Positive attitude and willingness to learn
• Professional appearance and dependable attendance
• Strong communication skills
• Passion for the beauty industry
• Team-oriented mindset
