Responsibilities

• Provide a wide range of beauty services to clients, including haircuts, hair styling, coloring, braiding, crochet braids, hair extensions, and basic salon services.
• Stay up-to-date with current beauty trends and techniques to ensure high-quality service.
• Consult with clients to understand their preferences and desired outcomes.
• Recommend and sell beauty products to clients based on their needs and preferences.
• Upsell additional services or products to enhance the client's experience.
• Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work area.
• Adhere to all health and safety regulations.
• Perform tasks related to general office duties.
• Perform other duties as assigned by management.
• Attend mandatory one-on-one and quarterly meetings.

Qualifications

• Valid cosmetology license (required).
• Proven experience as a cosmetologist or hairstylist.
• Proficiency in a wide range of beauty services, including haircuts, styling, coloring, braiding, crochet braids, hair extensions, and basic salon services.
• Knowledge of basic math and professional hair care products for retailing.
• Strong communication and customer service skills.
• Ability to work well in a team environment or independently as needed.
• Willingness to mentor junior cosmetologists, apprentices, or assistants.
• Hair styling: 1 year (preferred).
