Open Positions

We are currently hiring for four distinct roles within our studio. Please indicate the position(s) you are applying for in your application:

1. Natural Hair Stylist (Licensed Cosmetologist)

• Overview: Provide client consultations, custom hair care regimens, and non-chemical styling services.
• Key Responsibilities: Silk presses, wash and gos, deep conditioning/scalp treatments, precision cuts, traditional loc retwist, and client education on hair health.
• Qualifications: Valid Connecticut Cosmetology License; strong expertise in natural hair care.

2. Braid Specialist

• Overview: Execute clean, precise, and tension-free protective braid styling while prioritizing client scalp and hair health.
• Key Responsibilities: Knotless braids, box braids, cornrows, stitch braids, feed-in styles, traditional loc retwists and styling, men's braided styles, and take-down care.
• Qualifications: Proven portfolio of clean parting and consistent tension control; deep understanding of natural hair protection and treatments.

3. Weave & Extension Specialist

• Overview: Deliver flawless, seamless extension installations customized to client hair density and lifestyle.
• Key Responsibilities: Traditional sew-ins, closure/frontal installations, quick weaves, microlinks, and custom wig maintenance.
• Qualifications: Deep understanding of natural hair protection beneath installs; mastery of blending, cutting, and styling human hair extensions.

4. Luxury Loctician

• Overview: Provide elite interlocking services exclusively for micro-locs and Sisterlocks in our luxury salon setting.
• Key Responsibilities: Perform interlocking retightenings, micro-loc consultations, precise grid maintenance, and specialized scalp/hair health treatments.
• Growth & Certification Pathways Available: We invest in our team's craft. If you are not yet experienced in luxury microloc interlocking, we provide paid internships and internal certification to align your technical skills with our brand's standards.
• Qualifications: A background in natural hair is required, alongside a strong understanding of hair health, scalp care, and conditioning treatments.
