• Use salon software such as Square for scheduling appointments, managing client records, and processing retail sales
• Offer expert advice on hair care products, retail items, and upselling opportunities to boost salon revenue
• Assist with front desk duties including greeting clients, managing appointments, and handling inquiries with excellent communication skills
• Mentor junior team members by sharing techniques in hair styling, coloring, and retail sales strategies
• Stay informed about industry trends in hair coloring, cutting, and new product launches

Requirements

• Valid cosmetology license with experience working in the beauty industry
• Proficiency with salon management software such as Square or similar platforms
• Strong knowledge of color theory, hair coloring techniques, and sanitation practices
• Skilled in various hair styling methods including cutting, blowouts, and special occasion styles
• Excellent customer service skills with the ability to communicate clearly and professionally
• Ability to perform retail math for upselling products effectively while maintaining integrity
• Knowledge of store management principles to contribute positively to team goals
