Hair Stylist Assistant
Join our vibrant salon team as a Hair Stylist Assistant, where your enthusiasm and dedication will help create stunning looks and memorable experiences for clients.In this dynamic role, you'll support senior stylists with a variety of tasks, learn the latest hair styling techniques, and develop essential skills in a fast-paced, energetic environment. This very flexible position offers a fantastic opportunity to grow your career in a blonding and extension focused salon and opportunity to take walk-ins and your own clients during scheduled assistant shifts.
We are closed Sunday and Monday.
Duties
- Support senior stylists to efficiently service their clientele.
- Assist the salon's daily operations by enforcing standards and maintaining a welcoming atmosphere for clients.
- Weekly class attendance is expected to learn and assist with color theory application, store management tasks, and basic hair threading techniques to broaden your skill set.
Qualifications
- Thursday - Saturday availability. Open availability preferred.
- Professional references, even if your previous employer is unrelated to beauty.
- NY Cosmetology license required OR currently enrolled in school.
