• Maintain a clean and organized work area while adhering to salon hygiene standards.
• Utilize salon software for appointment scheduling, client records, and inventory management.
• Mentor junior stylists or trainees by sharing knowledge and best practices in hair care and styling.
• Engage with clients to understand their needs, providing excellent customer service throughout their visit.

Requirements

• Valid cosmetology license or certification as required by state regulations.
• Proven experience in hair styling, including expertise in color.
• Strong understanding of retail sales techniques with the ability to upsell products effectively.
• Excellent customer service skills with a friendly and approachable demeanor.
• Familiarity with salon software for efficient appointment management is preferred.
• Ability to work collaboratively within a team environment while also being self-motivated.
• Strong communication skills, both verbal and non-verbal, to effectively interact with clients.
