Licensed Cosmetologist

In this role, you will deliver exceptional hair, skin, and nail services that leave clients feeling confident and beautiful. Your expertise in cosmetology will help create personalized looks, recommend suitable treatments, and ensure a welcoming, professional environment. Duties

• Perform a wide range of beauty services including hair styling, hair extensions, barbering, and nail services to meet each client's unique needs.
• Provide advanced treatments such as esthetic laser therapy, dermabrasion, body waxing, and eyelash extensions to enhance clients' natural beauty.
• Apply color theory principles to create custom hair color solutions and perform precise hair cutting and styling.
• Offer nail care services such as manicures, pedicures, and nail art while maintaining strict sanitation standards.
• Educate clients on skincare routines, product recommendations, and retail sales opportunities to maximize their results and satisfaction.
• Maintain a clean, sanitized workspace following all health regulations; ensure tools and equipment are properly sterilized after each use.
• Engage in upselling techniques by suggesting additional services or retail products that complement clients' treatments.
• Communicate effectively with clients to understand their preferences and provide expert advice on current trends like hair styling, hair extensions, or eyelash enhancements.
• Keep detailed records of client preferences, treatments performed, and retail transactions using retail math skills for accurate sales tracking.

Experience

• Valid state licensure as a Cosmetologist with comprehensive knowledge of cosmetology practices.
• Proven experience in delivering diverse beauty treatments including hair styling, coloring, barbering, nail care, and skin treatments.
• Familiarity with color theory concepts to create harmonious color blends tailored to individual clients.
• Experience performing esthetic laser treatments or dermabrasion is a plus but not required; training can be provided.
• Strong customer service skills with the ability to communicate clearly and build rapport with diverse clientele.
• Knowledge of sanitation procedures and safety standards essential for maintaining a hygienic work environment.
• Ability to upsell retail products effectively while providing excellent service to enhance the client experience.
