• Offer expert advice on hair care products and retail items through effective upselling techniques
• Deliver outstanding customer service by listening attentively to client needs, communicating clearly, and ensuring a positive experience from start to finish
• Mentor junior team members in techniques such as hair threading, coloring theory, and store management practices to foster team growth
• Manage front desk responsibilities including greeting clients, booking appointments, and handling inquiries professionally

Qualifications

• Proven experience in cosmetology or barbering with proficiency in hair styling, coloring, and haircutting techniques
• Knowledge of salon software systems such as MINDBODY for appointment scheduling and client management
• Strong understanding of sanitation protocols to ensure a safe environment for clients and staff
• Skilled in retail sales with the ability to upsell products confidently while providing excellent customer service
• Familiarity with advanced beauty treatments including eyelash extensions, nail care, makeup application, and hair threading
• Excellent communication skills to connect effectively with clients and team members
• Ability to mentor others in technical skills like straight razor shaving or store management practices
• Valid cosmetology or barbering license as required by local regulations
