Utilize salon software like MINDBODY to schedule appointments, manage client records, and process retail sales efficiently
Maintain impeccable sanitation standards by following proper sterilization procedures for tools like straight razors and other equipment
Offer expert advice on hair care products and retail items through effective upselling techniques
Deliver outstanding customer service by listening attentively to client needs, communicating clearly, and ensuring a positive experience from start to finish
Mentor junior team members in techniques such as hair threading, coloring theory, and store management practices to foster team growth
Manage front desk responsibilities including greeting clients, booking appointments, and handling inquiries professionally

Qualifications

Proven experience in cosmetology or barbering with proficiency in hair styling, coloring, and haircutting techniques
Knowledge of salon software systems such as MINDBODY for appointment scheduling and client management
Strong understanding of sanitation protocols to ensure a safe environment for clients and staff
Skilled in retail sales with the ability to upsell products confidently while providing excellent customer service
Familiarity with advanced beauty treatments including eyelash extensions, nail care, makeup application, and hair threading
Excellent communication skills to connect effectively with clients and team members
Ability to mentor others in technical skills like straight razor shaving or store management practices
Valid cosmetology or barbering license as required by local regulations
