Weekend Facial Aesthetician at Skinkind

We are seeking skilled and passionate Aestheticians to join our team, primarily for the weekend shift (Saturday, Sunday, and potentially Friday). The ideal candidate will have a strong background in skincare and beauty treatments, with the ability to provide exceptional guest services. As a Skinkind Facial Aesthetician, you will be responsible for delivering high-quality treatments while ensuring a welcoming and relaxing environment for clients. Our weekends on Newbury Street are busy! Ideal candidates will have the time management and interpersonal skills to efficiently perform services within our 50 minute window and turn rooms over in 5-10 minutes between guests, while working harmoniously with the rest of the team.

Duties

• Perform various skincare treatments, including specialized facials, dermabrasion, and peels.
• Provide face, neck, and arm massage on clients per Skinkind standards.
• Maintain cleanliness and sanitation of work areas and equipment to ensure a safe environment for clients.
• Engage with clients to understand their needs and recommend appropriate services or products.
• Assist in sales of skincare products and services to enhance client satisfaction and loyalty.
• Provide excellent guest services by communicating effectively with clients throughout their visit.
• Stay updated on industry trends and techniques to continually improve service offerings.

Requirements

• Valid Massachusetts aesthetician license in compliance with state regulations.
• Experience in dermabrasion, extractions, hydrafacial, LED therapy, and other aesthetic services is required; ideal candidates will have at least 6 months of prior work experience as an aesthetician.
• Knowledge of dermaplaning, application of various peels, and/or microneedling a plus.
• Strong communication skills to effectively interact with clients and understand their needs.
• Ability to sanitize equipment and maintain a clean work environment consistently.
• Previous experience in guest services or sales within the beauty industry is advantageous.
• A passion for skincare, beauty trends, and providing exceptional client experiences.
