Shampoo & Salon Assistant at Bloom Beauty Lounge

In this active, paid role, you will be responsible for delivering high-quality shampooing, conditioning, and scalp treatments while maintaining a clean, organized, and welcoming salon environment. This position is an excellent opportunity to build foundational skills in hair care, customer service, and salon operations within a creative, professional, and fast-paced setting.

Responsibilities

• Greet clients in a friendly and professional manner and ensure their comfort throughout their visit
• Perform shampooing, conditioning, headspas, and scalp treatments in accordance with salon standards and sanitation protocols
• Maintain cleanliness and sanitation of all salon tools, chairs, wash stations, and work areas in compliance with health regulations
• Properly disinfect equipment and ensure all sanitation standards are consistently met
• Manage salon laundry, including towels, capes, and related supplies
• Effective and professional communication with clients to understand their needs and provide excellent customer service that encourages repeat visits

Qualifications

• Current Cosmetology license
• Previous salon experience required
• Professional, polished appearance
• Strong communication skills and the ability to engage confidently with clients and team members
• Demonstrated attention to sanitation, safety, and detail
• Enthusiastic team player
• Flexible availability, including weekends
