Front Desk Salon Coordinator at Hair Effex Hair Salon

Hair Effex is a busy, established salon in the heart of Bellmore looking for an experienced, organized, and friendly Front Desk Salon Coordinator to join our team. You'll be the first face our guests see and the person who keeps our day running smoothly.

What You'll Do

• Greet clients warmly and create a welcoming first impression
• Own the client experience from the moment they book to the moment they leave
• Answer phones, texts, and online inquiries promptly and professionally
• Book, confirm, and manage appointments to keep stylists' schedules full
• Make follow-up callbacks to check on client satisfaction and rebook guests
• Handle client questions, concerns, and complaints with professionalism and care
• Check clients in and out, process payments, and handle rebooking
• Recommend and sell retail products
• Manage waitlists, cancellations, and schedule changes
• Keep the front desk and reception area clean and organized
• Support the team with daily salon operations

What We're Looking For

• Previous salon or spa front desk experience required
• Experience with salon booking software (Meevo a plus)
• Excellent communication and customer service skills
• Calm and confident handling client concerns
• Highly organized and able to multitask in a fast-paced environment
• Professional, positive, and reliable
• Willingness to work evenings and Saturdays
