Salon Assistant at Hair Effex Hair Salon
Hair Happiness Starts Here. Hair Effex is a busy, established salon in the heart of Bellmore looking for a motivated, hardworking Salon Assistant to join our team. If you're passionate about hair and want to learn from an experienced team while building toward a career behind the chair, this is the place for you.What you'll do:
- Shampoo, condition, and blow-dry clients
- Mix color and help stylists with color applications and processing
- Greet clients and help them feel welcome and comfortable
- Keep stations, the shampoo area, and the salon clean and organized
- Help with laundry, restocking, and daily salon upkeep
- Support stylists throughout the day so services run smoothly
What we're looking for:
- Cosmetology license, or currently enrolled in cosmetology school
- Positive attitude and eagerness to learn
- Reliable, punctual, and able to work in a fast-paced environment
- Willingness to work evenings and Saturdays
- No experience needed. We'll train you!
