Salon Team Member at Mane Space

This is a physically active, high-accountability role that requires strong multitasking, time management, and cleaning skills. You'll handle significant cleaning, flip studios in minutes, run laundry, manage bookings, and keep three floors spotless and ready for clients, all at once.

It's perfect for someone who wants steady, predictable hours: a fixed Tuesday–Saturday evening schedule, ~32 hours a week, weekly pay, and 401(k) benefits.

Responsibilities

• Clean and sanitize studios and common areas (vacuum, sweep, mop, wipe surfaces)
• Launder and fold towels/capes; restock supplies in every studio
• Empty trash and recycling; maintain the beverage station

• Monitor the schedule, anticipate turnovers, and clean studios quickly between bookings
• Track booking end-times, remind stylists, and coordinate extensions or check-outs to keep the day on time
• Juggle cleaning, laundry, restocking, and guest support so priority tasks finish without disrupting services

• Greet guests, notify stylists, and provide warm, solution-oriented customer service
• Distribute equipment; receive and deliver packages for members

• Identify and report maintenance issues promptly
• Maintain accurate sales or inventory records as needed
• Uphold Mane Space standards for cleanliness, client experience, and team collaboration

Qualifications

• 2+ years in salon, residential, or commercial cleaning (assistant, porter, custodian, etc.)
• 2+ years of customer service experience
• Proven multitasking and time-management skills; comfortable using scheduling software or apps
• Strong attention to detail, communication, and problem-solving abilities
• Ability to walk/stand for extended periods and lift up to 25 lbs
• Flexible availability, including weekends and holidays
• Must pass a standard background check and have U.S. work authorization
• High school diploma or equivalent (Required)
• Fluent English (Required)
