Overview

We are seeking a motivated and enthusiastic Salon Assistant Manager to join our Team.

Role Overview

A Salon Assistant Manager supports the Salon Manager in the daily operations of the salon. This includes supervising staff, ensuring excellent customer service, handling bookings, managing inventory, and receptionist roles. The assistant manager acts as the second-in-command and often assumes full responsibility when the manager is absent.

Key Duties & Responsibilities

1. Operational Support

• Oversee day-to-day salon operations
• Ensure cleanliness and organization of the salon
• Open and close the salon if the manager is unavailable
• Post and create social media contents

2. Staff Supervision

• Assist with staff scheduling and time management
• Train new employees on salon procedures and policies
• Motivate staff and assist with conflict resolution
• Create marketing targets and promotions

3. Customer Service

• Ensure high standards of client service
• Handle client complaints or concerns
• Support front-desk staff with bookings and check-ins

4. Sales & Inventory

• Monitor retail product inventory and reorder supplies as needed
• Promote upselling of products and services
• Track product sales and suggest marketing initiatives

5. Tasks

• Help with financial reporting or budgeting
• Hitting sales goals
• Monitoring costs

Required Skills & Qualifications

• Experience in a salon environment with 5 years experience
• Strong leadership and communication skills
• Understanding of salon retail and service operations
