Salon Assistant at VaZa Salon

VaZa Salon is looking for an experienced Salon Assistant who wants a clear path toward becoming a successful stylist behind the chair.

If you've already gained experience assisting in a salon but are looking for more education, mentorship, and opportunities to grow, we'd love to meet you.

What You'll Do

• Assist stylists with shampoos, treatments, color services, and styling
• Support guests throughout their appointments
• Work alongside experienced stylists in a busy salon environment
• Maintain a clean, organized, and professional workspace
• Support the salon team throughout the day

Who We're Looking For

• Previous salon assistant experience preferred
• NYS Cosmetology License or Temporary License
• Motivated to grow into a stylist
• Professional, reliable, and team-oriented
• Open to coaching, feedback, and continued education
• Strong work ethic and willingness to learn
