Salon Assistant at VaZa Salon

We're looking for a motivated Salon Assistant who wants more than just an assistant job. If your goal is to become a confident, successful stylist behind the chair, we'll provide the training, coaching, and real salon experience to help you get there.

What You'll Do

• Assist stylists with shampoos, treatments, color services, and styling
• Prepare and care for guests throughout their appointments
• Support stylists and the salon team during busy days
• Maintain a clean, organized, and professional salon environment
• Assist with front desk responsibilities when needed

Who We're Looking For

• NYS Cosmetology License or Temporary License
• Previous salon experience preferred
• Strong work ethic and willingness to learn
• Positive, professional attitude
• Reliable and team-oriented
• Takes initiative and is open to coaching and feedback
• Serious about building a career behind the chair
